2014年6月起，世界動(dòng)物保護(hù)協(xié)會(huì)的英文名稱(chēng)與logo正式從“WSPA: World Society for the Protection of Animals”變更為“World Animal Protection”。據(jù)該協(xié)會(huì)稱(chēng)，雖然我們變更了名稱(chēng)，但是我們保護(hù)動(dòng)物的目標(biāo)和決心從未改變。World Animal Protection的新名稱(chēng)與新logo清晰直觀(guān)地表明了World Animal Protection的工作和立場(chǎng)，能夠讓更多的人了解World Animal Protection的目標(biāo)和愿景。同時(shí)，World Animal Protection的新名稱(chēng)將鼓勵(lì)更多的人支持World Animal Protection改善動(dòng)物的生存現(xiàn)狀，終止動(dòng)物虐待。
